  • Motor - Two powerful rear drive brushless motors, 24V 250W, combined 500W. Maximum 9 degree climbing ability
  • Battery - Leitner Hayden has one battery. Leitner Riely has one battery. 
    • Fully charge the new battery (10Ah, 24V) before its initial use. This brings the battery up to about 90% of its peak performance level.
    • Give the battery another full charge of 4-6 hours and operate your wheelchair again, the batteries will now perform at over 90% of their potential.
    • After four or five charging cycles, the batteries will top off at 100% charge, it lasts for an extended period.
    • Certified safe for air transport under UN 38.3. Please confirm with the airline and airports first, as some airlines may have different guidelines.

  • Brakes: 
    • Intelligent electromagnetic brakes: as soon as the control joystick is not operated, the brakes will be automatically operative to stop the electric wheelchair.
    • Please observe whether the hand brake works or not
    • The brakes can be released using two safety releases on the rear which can be operated from behind by foot, or by hand if the wheelchair occupant reaches back
    • After the brakes have been released, the wheelchair can be pushed from behind or it can be rolled on the rear wheels when folded. If the wheelchair is occupied, it is recommended to use power assistance (joystick control). Pushing the electric wheelchair from behind is possible, however it is a bit harder compared to pushing a non-motorized wheelchair.
  • Joystick Control - 
    • The joystick controller is used to control the chair's movement, including its speed and direction. The joystick control is installed in one armrest, which is connected to the motor and battery.
    • The further you push the joystick from central position, the faster the wheelchair moves. Whenever you release the joystick lever, it will automatically return to center, and brake will be automatically engaged to stop the ewheelchair.  
    • Plus(+) and Minus (-) buttton to adjust 5-speed, starting from steady slowest motion to the speed you feel comfortable to ride. Leitner recommends you start at our lowest speed until you can ride ewheelchair skillfully.
    • Reversing sound can be closed by pressing the button of speed-down (-) and horn simultaneously for 3 seconds. If the user needs to turn it on, please press (+) and horn for 3 seconds.

    • Turn the footrest upward by 90 degrees
    • The frame can be folded by pulling up the seat lever from both sides as well as pulling up the two handle straps under the seat cushion (see our manual)
  • Armrest - Padded, flip-up. Safety releases on the outside of both armrests.

  • Travelling Distance on one Charge - up to 20km (onthe flate surface)

  • Two Anti-Tip Wheels - The power wheelchair is equipped with anti-tip wheels, which are used to prevent the wheelchair from tipping over in an emergency. The anti-tip wheels of this wheelchair cannot be removed. The wheels are only suitable for a flat surface.
